DIY Automotive Laptop Power Sequencer

So I've decided to use a laptop as the heart of my (hypothetical) car PC. I did some research into various power-on solutions, and I'm not such a fan of most of them. I figure with an "emergency backup switch" for special scenarios, a circuit that just basically cycles the switch when power is either applied or removed should do the trick. Driven from the CD changer "remote" wire, it could easily cycle with the radio.

My proposed schematic is below. The capacitors C1 and C2 are equal in size, and provide the "pulse". Size them according to the load (IE a larger output relay)
