Euroswitch

Here's a pic of the Euroswitch installed in my dash. Notice the extra "on" position. Fog lights are controlled by pulling the knob towards you.

This weekend, I installed a "Euro-switch" multifunction headlight control. Basically, it adds 3 functions:

• Park-lights only
• Front Fog-light control
• Rear Fog-light control

Additionally, I disconnected pin TFL, to disable my DRLs. If conditions warrant, I'll run my headlights or "City Lights" (AKA "Park Lights" for us USAians)... Otherwise, I'd like to save my SilverStars.

This is pretty much a nothing mod, as I dont have my rear-fogs wired yet, and haven't picked a pair of front fogs. I do like the park lights mode for driving to work in the morning, as it's getting light.

Basically, you just remove the old switch from the dash, unplug the harness, connect the new switch, and re-insert it into the dash. I "removed" the TFL pin by bending it over. The pin is fairly short, and can be moved towards the center of the connector without breaking it or shorting it to another pin.
