Tonight, I headed over to my cousin's place to try and help out with what I thought was a wireless encryption issue (dlink WPA vs Netgear WPA), but it turned out to be a signal strength issue. We tried swapping access points, NICs and about everything else, until we determined that it was the location of the AP that was the issue; After unsuccessfully trying to configure the spare access point as a wireless->wireless repeater, we determined that moving the access point and cable modem was the easiest solution, if easy is the right word. There's two cable jacks in the entire house, neither of which are near the any of the equipment in question OR the wireless "sweet spot"... So we're going to be running some cable in the future.

On the workout front, I tried to stop by Urban Active (also known as "the gym") on the way home, but I was told that they were closing at 9pm, instead of their usual 11pm, presumably for "Thanksgiving Eve". I hadn't seen a sign earlier in the week, nor is there anything listed on their website. I will say that they've got a totally awesome setup in terms of equipment and facilities (except for the missing hot tub...) but their hours (only until 11 on weeknights, and early evening [6 or 7] on weekends) are really a drag.
