So Becky was out controlling the beauty tonight and I had some time on my hands. I spent some time cleaning up the Jetta. I've got plans to do some... customizations. I'm sort of disappointed with the "yellow" interior, so as I go, Black is going to be the new accent color. I've got some ideas from the VWVortex Forums and am anxious to get started. For the moment, I settled for cleaning the engine bay (locating the pollen filter, in the process), fixing a power window switch (the insides of the switch itself are highly user servicable) and extracting the broken latch pieces from the armrest. It seems that my replacement latch will be the third for this vehicle; I removed broken pieces of the previous 2 latches from inside the armrest. One less rattle in a 5yo/105kmi car.
