Technology Links
From Fozzee.net
In September 2008, the Links section got too big for the Technology page. Here's where I put it.
Electronics
- CircuitSpecialists
- Steve's Home Theater - Steve here has the most insane home theater known to man. (More links to come, when I get my home theater section going)
- A very good Video Connector listing
- Liquidware - Lots of "Open" electronics, Arduino Shields, etc
- Cyborg Workshop - This guy is building lots of neat Arduino-based home automation stuff. Lots of info on environmental sensors.
Software
- BullZip PDF Printer - for Windows, built on GhostScript
- Windows Power Toys
- Fake Name Generator - Good for making up data for test databases.
- vCard and vCal File Specifications
- Ctrl-Alt-Del Utils - Some random freeware that Jason found.
VIM - Vi Improved
- VIM keyboard remapping - Useful for Windows Mobile on my phone.
- Learning vi and vim
- Editing with vim
The last two links are heavy on the actual skills without a lot of theory; It's really hard to find a resource that explains to people not only how to do the actual editing, but shows them when and how to use them (basically, the motion-action / command stuff is really hard to wrap your head around)
